GACC relies on volunteers for some of its operations. Volunteers assist us with administrative tasks, general handiwork, community BBQs, our Bunnings Fundraising BBQs and the Greenacre Community Festival.

If you are interested in volunteering contact the Centre to find out what opportunities exist to become involved as a volunteer. Volunteering helps people to meet others in their community and helps them feel they are making a valuable contribution to the community.  So if you have some spare time and would like to give back to the community contact the Centre to find out how you can become involved.

Volunteering Projects

 Community Gardens:

Are you interested in community gardens? Would you like to be involved in helping to establish one in the local community? Do you have any garden skills or knowledge you would like to share with the rest of the community? If you do then give the Greenacre Area Community Centre a call on 9750 7982 to find out how you can be involved.

Bunnings BBQs:

Do you have a few spare hours to donate to a good cause? The Greenacre Area Community Centre is recruiting volunteers for its Bunnings BBQs, which are run several times a year on Saturdays or Sundays as a fundraiser for the Centre. Various shifts available. Volunteers are provided with training and reimbursement for out of pocked expenses. Great way to meet new people in your local community too! Give Natalie a call on 9750 7982 for more info.
